Neighborhood Indicators

Neighborhood Indicators are calculated using data from the following sources:

  • New York City Police Department
  • New York City Department of Parks and Recreation
  • New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation

  • New York City Department of Buildings
  • Metropolitan Transit Authority
  • NYC Open Data
  • New York State Education Department
  • Consumer Price Index

Subsidized Housing Database

Property data in the Subsidized Housing Database are from the following sources:

  • New York City Department of Finance
  • New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development
  • New York City Housing Authority
  • New York State Department of Housing and Community Renewal
  • United States Department of Housing and Urban Development

The data provider for specific housing subsidy program information can be found in the Directory of NYC Housing Programs listed by subsidy program. For other data indicators, sources are listed by indicator in the Data Dictionary.
