Policy Director Jessica Yager Participates in Forum on Construction and Development in NYC

The 2015 Anchin Construction and Development Forum, held on February 12th, brought together key figures and experts in the construction industry to discuss development trends and innovations in New York City. 

NYU Furman Center Policy Director Jessica Yager spoke on a panel titled “The Rising Tide: Disaster-Proofing for Construction & Development,” where panelists discussed strategies and tools for how NYC can mitigate and recover from natural and man-made disasters. The panel was moderated by Daniel Stapleton, Professional Engineer at GZA GeoEnvironmental, and also included:

  • John Gilbert, Executive Vice President & COO, Rudin Mangement;
  • Laurie Schoeman, Program Director- Green Communities, Enterprise Community Partners; and
  • Robert Smilowitz, Principal, Weidlinger Associates
