NYU Urban Seminar: Ranciere and Ouzad

Romain Ranciere and Amine Ouzad will be leading this discussion series on credit standards and segregation. This event is part of the NYU Seminar Series co-sponsored by the Marron Institute and the NYU Furman Center. 

Romain Ranciere joined the Research Department of the I.M.F. in 2004. Before he was a researcher at CREI and an Assistant Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is also also a research affiliate at C.E.P.R. and a visiting Associate Professor of Economics at Paris School of Economics. His research interests are in Macroeconomics,International Finance and Economic Growth.

Amine Ouazad is Assistant Professor of Economics at INSEAD since2008. He holds a PhD from the Paris School of Economics -- European Doctoral Program, joint with the London School of Economics -- and graduated from the Ecole polytechnique in 2003. Amine's researchlooks at the structure and evolution of cities using very rich microeconomic data. His work is published in the Journal of Economic Theory , the Journal of Public Economics , the Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics,Education Finance and Policy . Amine has also conducted research and consultancy for the French and British governments.
