Moelis Institute Director Max Weselcouch Joins Panel on Post-Sandy Housing

News & Events | September 23rd 2014

On September 18, Max Weselcouch, Director of the Furman Center’s Moelis Institute for Affordable Housing Policy, traveled across the Hudson to take part in the Post Sandy Jersey City Model Housing Conference. Weselcouch joined a panel discussing the state of housing in Jersey City, including issues of income inequality and the unavailability of affordable housing to lower-income residents. The panel was part of a half-day conference held at New Jersey City University, covering a number of topics related to developing housing visions for post-Sandy communities, using Jersey City as a model.

The event was convened by the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, a statewide association of housing and community development corporations, individuals and organizations that support the creation of affordable homes, economic opportunities, and strong communities.
