Jessica Yager Presents on New York’s Foreclosure Crisis

Furman Center Policy Director Jessica Yager presented yesterday at the Coalition for Debtor Education Conference at Fordham University School of Law. On a panel entitled, “The Mortgage Crisis: It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over”, Jessica discussed New York City’s foreclosure crisis. Her presentation shared Furman Center data on how this crisis has impacted housing in the Big Apple compared to other New York metropolitan areas, and also highlighted the concentrations of pre-foreclosure notices and underwater homes across NYC’s five boroughs.
