Neighborhood Preservation Consultants (NPC)

The Neighborhood Preservation Consultants (NPC) program provides nearly $2 million in federal funds over a period of three years to nineteen local community-based organizations working on a variety of housing preservation-focused activities. NPC activities aim to meet the goals of stopping tenant displacement, improving housing quality, and encouraging property owners to obtain financing with New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) that both funds property upgrades and ensures long-term affordability.
