Homeownership and Opportunity for People Everywhere III (HOPE III)
HOPE III provided planning and implementation grants for homeownership programs in certain single-family projects to a cooperative association, public or private non-profit organization, or a public agency in cooperation with a private non-profit organization. Eligible households under the HOPE III program were first time homebuyers whose incomes could not exceed 80 percent of Area Median Income (AMI).
